Day 1: WELCOME ONBOARD

Touch down in Sorong, where the Katoa crew will be waiting to greet you for a seamless transfer to the harbor. Grab a welcome drink, set up your gear, and settle comfortably into your cabin. Soon, we’ll leave the coastline behind as your diving raja ampat 8 days cruise begins, sailing out toward the stunning archipelago. The adventure starts now!

Day 2: THE MAGIC OF THE DAMPIER STRAIT

Grab a quick morning bite before our first giant stride at Mioskon Reef, a gentle drift over soft corals alongside patrolling reef sharks. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll drop into the legendary Blue Magic, where electric-blue anemones and schools of fusiliers put on a mesmerizing show. Following lunch, descend into Sardine Reef to drift among swirling clouds of baitfish and hunting pelagics. We’ll cap off an epic first day with an exhilarating night dive under the stars, hunting for macro wonders like nudibranchs and octopuses.

Day 3: CORAL GARDENS & THE PIAYNEMO VIEWPOINT

Rise early for a dawn dive at My Reef, a pristine pinnacle buzzing with turtles, reef fish, and vibrant gorgonians. Mid-morning takes us to Melissa’s Garden, an unbelievable underwater wonderland alive with sea fans and playful reef sharks. After lunch, we trade our fins for shoes to take a gentle hike up to Piaynemo’s iconic viewpoint, capturing panoramic photos of the jagged karsts and turquoise lagoons. We’ll end the day slipping back into the water for a fascinating night dive.

Day 4: ADRENALINE CURRENTS & SEAMOUNTS

Fuel up before tackling Eagle Rock, a dramatic seamount where white tip sharks circle, and the currents bring the adrenaline. Our second dive plunges us into Black Rock to glide past black coral forests and massive schools of barracuda in this legendary hotspot. After lunch, we’ll ease into a gentle drift at One Tree Island, a shallow, sunlit paradise packed with hard corals, turtles, and eagle rays.

Day 5: CAVERNS, PELAGICS & WAYAG’S WONDERS

Start the morning strong riding the thrilling currents of Figure 8, keeping an eye out into the blue for massive pelagics. Next up is Ridge Rock, where walls draped in sea fans are patrolled by grey reef sharks. After lunch, we’ll explore the ethereal Cathedral, watching sunlight pierce through underwater caverns teeming with bumphead parrotfish. We’ll spend the rest of the afternoon cruising through and exploring the spectacular, maze-like limestone islands of Wayag.

Day 6: BLACK CORAL FOREST & BEACHSIDE BBQ

Descend into Taman Wofoh for your morning dive, a stunning coral garden playground where turtles and reef sharks dart through the blue. Mid-morning, we’ll trace the vibrant Red Patch Wall, splashed with crimson sponges and swirling with colorful reef fish. Post-lunch takes us to Edi’s Black Forest, a shadowy, thrilling landscape of black corals hiding mantis shrimp and moray eels. Tonight, we celebrate with a private beach barbecue on the secluded sands of Wofoh.

Day 7: CITRUS WALLS & MAJESTIC MANTAS

Ease into your final diving day at Citrus Ridge, gliding along walls bursting with bright orange corals and hunting jacks. For our grand finale, we’ll hover at Manta Sandy, a famous cleaning station where giant, graceful manta rays glide in close for intimate encounters.
After a well-earned lunch, we’ll begin our scenic cruise back toward Waisai, swapping dive stories and reviewing photos along the way.

Day 8: SORONG UNTIL NEXT TIME

Enjoy one last lavish breakfast on deck as we return to Sorong. Our crew will assist with your disembarkation, handle your luggage, and arrange a smooth transfer to the airport for your flight home.
